1. Can I mail a letter to an inmate?
a. Yes, you can mail letters, post cards, and money orders (no personal checks will be accepted) to inmates by sending them to :

b. Do not forget to include your full name and return address.
2. How do I post bail?
The bail is set by a court order. Most bails are a cash sum and only cash will be accepted. If bail is a surety, that will also be accepted. However, you are required to post a surety bond accompanied with a deed. Bail can be posted at TBRJ in the reception area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A correctional officer will assist you by verifying required paperwork and the proper amount of bail. Please be patient with the process, particularly during periods of conflicting jail activities.
A $40.00 charge will be added for the bail commissioner’s fee and the commissioner will be called once you have counted out the cash for the booking officer at the window.
3. How is inmate property handled?
During the booking process clothing and personal items are confiscated and placed in inmate storage. Inmates wishing to release personal property are required to fill out a release form in advance of your arrival. Personal property is released every Friday. Please have a picture ID whenever picking up or dropping off property
4. How is inmate medication handled?
Medication for inmates can be brought to the jail as long as they are in the original prescription container. Medications will be dispensed according to the directions by the physician on the script. Medications are dispensed to the inmate during a regular scheduled medication pass. All medical issues will be reviewed by staff. Some medical issues will be forwarded to the staff physician. Any medical or dental needs outside of the facility including transportation will be arranged by the medical/correction staff.
5. Can I leave a message for an inmate? What if it is an emergency?
Massages are not delivered to an inmate unless it is an emergency. If you feel your message could be an emergency, you can contact our staff and give as much detailed information as possible concerning the situation. Correctional staff members are required to confirm the validity of these types of messages. Be prepared to pass on information such as name(s), funeral home, hospital, contact information, and location.
6. How do I schedule a visit?
You must call one business day ahead of the scheduled visit, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. The receptionist will make sure you are on the inmate’s visitation list. If your name is on the list you will have a visit scheduled for the following day.

8. What are the visit rules?
· All visitors must arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the visit to allow the Officer on duty to process them into the facility.
· Visitors are only allowed to visit one inmate per day.
· Parents will not leave children unattended on facility grounds.
· Visits are restricted to three (3) visitors.
· Passing anything to an inmate during a visit will result in termination of the visit.
· Disruptive behavior by adults or children will result in termination of the visit.
· Contact in the form of a short hug and kiss at the beginning and end of a visit is permitted during contact visits. No contact is permitted during the visit itself.
9. What can’t I take into the visit?
The following items are not to be brought into the jail at any time:
· Weapons (guns, knives, clubs, mace, etc.).
· Tobacco products and lighters of any kind.
· Baby cribs, strollers, walkers, car seat, blankets, baby bottles, etc.
· Phones or pagers of any kind.
· Handbags or hand-held wallets.
· Briefcases, clipboards, notebooks, books, magazines, pictures, cameras or any kind of recording or playing device.
· Food or drink.
10. Is there a dress code I need to follow?
· No hats or head covering of any kind.
· No shorts except on children under age10.
· Dresses must be knee length.
· Shirts and dresses must have sleeves.
· No see-through clothing.
· No low cut clothing and the bottom of shirts must come down past the belt line.
· No skintight clothing.
· No sandals without a heel and a heel strap.
11. Could I be denied a visit?
Yes, visitors may be denied visits for the following reasons:
· Being on current bail conditions.
· Pending criminal charges.
· A protection order.
· If a warrant for the visitor’s arrest is currently active.
· The visitor is currently under supervision of probation and parole.
· The visitor has been released from custody of Two Bridges Regional Jail within the last sixty (60) days.
· Any known convictions for trafficking in prison contraband.
12. What if I have questions about his/her court dates?
Unfortunately we are not notified of an inmate’s court date until moments before. Your best bet is to call the court directly.
13. Can I call an inmate?
No phone calls can be made directly to an inmate.
If you want to allow collect calls from an inmate, an account will need to be set up with Inmate Telephone Inc. (ITI). Please call ITI directly at phone number (818) 949-3303.
Hours are: Monday – Friday (7am – 6 pm) EST
If you do not want to allow collect calls, inmates can make calls with the inmate phone system. Otherwise, the inmate will need money on their account to make calls.
